A dialogue of rough-hewn materiality and functional forms

Created in partnership with Mlkk Studio, Aesop Chadstone is deeply tethered to natural forms and geology, effecting an otherworldly calm.

The store introduces rough-hewn minerality to the surrounding retail environment. The entrance to the corner site is flanked by monolithic discarded fragments of locally sourced Basalt.

An angular concrete sink provides a place for product demonstrations, effecting both a continuation of the tonal palette, and a textural contrast with the rough-edged rock.
